Job Functions

A sexual abuse prevention company in New York is looking for a Remote Media Generalist. Your responsibilities will include maintaining our blog and social media content calendar, ensuring excellent content is delivered across key regions, segments, and solution areas, and managing our coordination across teams, bringing the best of content to our audiences, tailoring this as needed. We seek a highly motivated self-starter who is comfortable with sensitive topics and excited to be a part of a fast-moving business and growing team working to help increase the opportunity for all with our help.


  • Oversee blog and social media calendar ensuring all global team members feed in the right content at the right time and are enabled to amplify the content through all the channels we have
  • Be the point of collaboration between the marketing for the team and create content campaigns

Job Requirements



  • Project management/prioritization skills + marketing content/writing skills is the sweet spot
  • Generalist earlier in their work experience 


  • Education: Degree and field- A Bachelor's or Masters degree or equivalent
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in writing emails, slides decks, and documents, with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to plan and run multiple projects at once (e.g planning online events while also working on written assets), prioritizing and making trade-offs to get work done
  • Project management skills and a demonstrated ability to organize projects that involve many people with a variety of ideas, priorities, & communication styles
  • Experience with Google Docs, Gmail, Sheets and Slides
